Description : Job Summary :
The Product Manager Agile Methodologies is responsible for defining product strategy, prioritizing features, and driving successful delivery using Agile practices.
The role collaborates across engineering, design, business, and customer-facing teams to build high-impact products.
The Product Manager ensures that the product roadmap aligns with business goals, customer needs, and market trends while guiding cross-functional teams through iterative development cycles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on business objectives and customer pain points.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and customer interviews to identify new opportunities.
- Align product goals with company OKRs, KPIs, and long-term strategy.
- Develop business cases and feature proposals with clearly defined success metrics.
- Act as Product Owner in Agile teams, managing the product backlog and user stories.
- Collaborate with design and engineering to translate customer requirements into detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize backlog items based on value, feasibility, dependencies, and customer impact.
- Lead Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, and Review sessions ensuring proper alignment across teams.
- Work closely with UX / UI teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
- Partner with engineering to ensure product features are delivered on schedule and meet technical standards.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, customer support, and leadership on product positioning, launches, and updates.
- Facilitate cross-team communication and remove impediments impacting delivery.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch, iteration, and maturity.
- Define and track KPIs, user engagement metrics, product performance, and ROI.
- Monitor release quality, test execution, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing product usage data and feedback.
- Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather insights and validate assumptions.
- Hold product demos, roadmap discussions, and regular stakeholder updates.
- Collect and prioritize customer feedback to guide product evolution.
- Evangelize the product vision internally and externally.
- Create product requirement documents (PRDs), user story maps, workflows, prototypes, and wireframes.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for features, releases, and technical specifications.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on product performance, progress, risks, and timelines.
- Promote Agile mindset across teams by encouraging iterative development, transparency, and open communication.
- Help teams adopt practices such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and SAFe (if applicable).
- Ensure ceremonies, artifacts, and Agile principles are followed for predictability and quality.
Required Skills & Competencies :
Technical & Product Skills :
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).Expertise in creating and managing product backlogs and user stories.Experience with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Amplitude).Familiarity with UX principles, design tools (Figma, Sketch), and prototyping techniques.Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical concepts (APIs, integrations, cloud).Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps(ref : hirist.tech)
