Role Description

We are seeking a Product Manager Lead who will define the product vision, lead a cross-functional team, and own key business and engagement metrics for Kotak Cherry. This role demands strong strategic thinking, team leadership, and a data-driven mindset to deliver scalable digital product growth.

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

Define and articulate the long-term product vision and strategy aligned with business goals.
Own the product KPIs — from user growth and engagement to D2C conversion and retention.
Translate customer insights and market opportunities into actionable product initiatives.
Continuously identify innovation opportunities and competitive differentiation.

Team Leadership & Management

Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering collaboration and ownership.

Build a culture of accountability, curiosity, and speed across product and design teams.

Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success to ensure seamless product execution.

Product Roadmap & Execution

Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on impact, feasibility, and customer value.

Write clear product requirement documents (PRDs) and user stories focusing on why and what, while collaborating with engineering and design on how.

Ensure timely and high-quality product releases through structured execution and QA processes.

Partner with UX to deliver intuitive, delightful user experiences for all customer segments.

Growth & Performance

Drive DAU, MAU, and engagement by building sticky product experiences and tools.

Enhance D2C customer transactions through data-led product improvements and integrated marketing efforts.

Leverage analytics to monitor feature adoption, user journeys, and product performance;

make data-backed decisions for continuous improvement.

Customer Insights & Market Awareness

Collaborate with the customer success team to translate user feedback into roadmap priorities.

Benchmark against competitors and incorporate emerging market trends into the product strategy.

Maintain a customer-first mindset while balancing business objectives and technical feasibility.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Product Manager in fintech, SaaS, or digital-first startups.

Strong understanding of technology, APIs, and product-led growth principles.

Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams (minimum 2–3 members).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical decision-making skills.

Deep customer empathy with an ability to balance strategy and execution.
