RTM / Channel Strategy
Partner with BU / Sales Leads to drive the organization’s RtM and Channel Strategy across business units covering :
- Clearly define Where to Play across Business units based on Attractiveness and Capability to Win
- Develop, deploy and continuously refine the “RtM Playbook” covering standard frameworks for DT selection, onboarding, capability building, and retention basis internal and external learnings
- Design differentiated Channel Value Propositions (CVPs) aligned with customer potential and strategic objectives
- Develop and monitor channel health periodically to drive reduced DT churn and proactive decision making
- Together with the CX Team, refine the Channel Performance monitoring dashboards leveraging digital tools (SAP, CRM, DMS etc)
Strategic Planning (P4R) and driving delivery against planned objectives
Together with Head Strategy and Head Finance, drive the P4R strategic planning process across Business Units
Bring in an external view on relevant market trends and implications for PLIPL’s strategic planningSupport the BU / functional Leads in refining their BU / functional strategy as part of the planning processDelivery Support
Responsible to drive the simulation process together with stakeholders from Business, Finance and Supply chain to provide a forward-looking 3M / Annual view on business performance and drive proactive decision making to achieve P4R objectivesDesign / Project Management of efficiency improvement initiatives
For identified modules across Product Cost, Logistics & Warehousing and various Fixed Cost levers as required under the Internal transformation agenda, independently lead cross-functional project teams across Technology, Supply Chain and Finance to design and project manage opportunities for cost optimizationRefine the consolidated list of Key Metrics to be tracked across supply chain and co-develop mechanisms with the Supply Chain leadership to monitor the same periodicallyWork with plant and planning teams to drive improvement in key efficiency metrics including cost optimization, better servicing of customers, improved working capital utilization etc.Support Strategic Collaborations / Partnerships & Business Development
Support Head-Strategy in developing opportunities for Strategic Collaborations & Partnerships to achieve key strategic objectives such as Growth, Profitability, Plant Utilization etc. on a case to case basisQUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum 7+ years of working experience across consulting and / or corporate strategy across MNCsExperience designing and implementing large transformation / change management programs across organizations with a focus on areas such as Growth, Profitability improvement, Route-to-market, Marketing, operations and process / systems implementation etcSolid experience in driving strategic planning and developing business plans for new initiativesExperience in Automotive, Industrial, Consumer sectors preferredMBA from premier institute (IIMs / ISB / SP Jain / JBIMS etc)Competencies / Skills :
Possess strong business acumen combined with ability to build business partnership, demonstrate credibility & drive organization visionProven ability to engage and work with Senior Leadership and Members of the BoardSuperior analytical, project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skillsBalance of “big picture” perspective and “on-the-ground” execution orientationStrong Understanding of key financial metrics and factors influencing the sameAbility to work in a matrix organization and engage local, regional and global stakeholders to influence decision making without formal authorityAbility to develop strong presentation collaterals and deliver the same with impact to senior stakeholders
