Job description

Role Responsibilities

Extract and code relevant information from medical records and patient charts
Liaise with physicians for clarification and ensure coding accuracy
Perform audits to identify discrepancies or billing issues
Train and mentor physicians and coding staff on best practices

Key Deliverables

Ensure compliance with coding standards and medical guidelines

Maintain accuracy and quality in coded records for billing and audits

Support resolution of coding-related issues and discrepancies

Assist in ongoing training and documentation improvement initiatives
