Qualys - Director - Quality Engineering

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Quality Engineering to lead our enterprise-wide Quality Engineering (QE) function.

This leader will own the strategy, execution, and innovation of testing practices across multiple product lines, ensuring world-class quality, scalability, and performance.

The Director will manage and mentor senior QA leaders, including QA Managers, Senior QA Managers, Automation Architects, and Principal QA Engineerswhile driving the adoption of modern test automation frameworks, CI / CD practices, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership :

• Define and execute the enterprise-wide QE strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Establish scalable test automation frameworks, CI / CD pipelines, and quality standards across diverse product teams.
• Partner with Product, Development, DevOps, and Architecture leaders to embed quality into every phase of the SDLC.
• Champion shift-left testing, DevTestOps, and AI / ML-driven quality practices.

People & Organizational Leadership :

Required Qualifications :

a. Functional and Non-Functional Testing (Performance, Scalability, Security).

b. Automation Frameworks & Tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, REST Assured, JUnit / TestNG).

c. CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.

d. Cloud-native testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
