More than just a pub, The Woodstock is your weekend ritual, midweek fallback, family lunch spot, and Friday knock-off plan - all under one roof. Rooted in Western Sydney’s big-hearted spirit, we bring people together across generations, cultures, and footy codes.
Our spaces are designed to unite everyone. At the heart of it all is a warm, family-friendly bistro, built around a food philosophy of generosity, flavour and flexibility. Mediterranean-inspired pub classics headline the menu, with a strong focus on woodfired pizzas, grilled meats and large-format dishes designed for sharing.
The large, dedicated kids play area with a ping pong table, chalk walls, a climbing frame and slippery dip ensures The Woodstock will become the go-to for everything from casual family dinners to midweek meals with the little ones in tow.
Our cutting-edge Sports Bar, state-of-the-art big screens, TAB, a Poker Room, and Bottle Shop are the essential ingredients that make the Woodstock your hub of entertainment and hospitality!
We are on the hunt for casual Duty Managers, looking to accelerate their hospitality career to lead, mentor and host with us!
The Role
As a casual Duty Manager, you’ll be the go-to leader on shift, keeping the floor buzzing, the team motivated, and the guest experience second to none. Hospitality is in your DNA, and you’re just as comfortable jumping behind the bar to pour a perfect drink as you are ensuring meals hit the table quickly and service runs like clockwork. From overseeing busy gaming rooms to delivering exceptional food and beverage service, you’ll bring energy, professionalism, and a genuine passion for great hospitality.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations during your shift, including opening and closing the venue, managing back-of-house tasks such as banking and shift administration, and supporting your team on the floor. You’ll lead by example, providing on-the-job training, fostering a positive culture, and creating an atmosphere that’s welcoming, vibrant, and memorable for every guest.
To succeed, you’ll have previous leadership experience in a hospitality venue, ideally as an Assistant or Duty Manager, and the confidence to run shifts across bar, gaming, and food service. With strong organisational skills, a hands-on approach, and a passion for great food, drinks, and building genuine guest connections, you’ll thrive in our fast-paced, multi-faceted venue.
This is your opportunity to step into a leadership role with flexibility, variety, and the chance to work across all areas of an exciting, high-energy environment.
