Employment Type : Full-time, Temporary, 11.5 months with possibility of extension and / or permanency.
Classification : Health Professional Level 3 / Psychologist Level 3 (PN 24334)
Note : This role will be filled at either Health Professional Level 3 or Psychologist Level P3 depending on qualifications and experience, in line with the Enterprise Agreement.
Salary for HP3 : $109,543 - $117,878 (Plus 12% Super)
Salary for P3 : $120,806 - $131,180 (Plus 12% Super)

About the Role :
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) sits within the Mental Health, Justice Health and Alcohol & Drug division of CHS. CAMHS provides assessment and treatment for children and young people up to the age of 18 who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues.
The Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Team is a specialist team within CAMHS that provide evidence based individual and skills group therapeutic intervention to young people (14-18 years) who are experiencing moderate to severe mental illness and meet a minimum of three criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder. This role contributes to the success of CHS through early intervention and treatment for young people with emerging personality vulnerabilities and their families.

Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required.
Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
