Job description5-10 years of experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes orchestration platforms. Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman). Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools. Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks. Familiarity with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Understanding of networking concepts related to container networking and services. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with OpenShift.
Description
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing container orchestration platforms and will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing OpenShift environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage OpenShift clusters in a production environment.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment pipelines using CI / CD practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift and containerized applications.
- Implement security best practices for OpenShift environments.
- Conduct regular backups and recovery testing for OpenShift clusters.
