Director – Sales Excellence

Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Excellence Director to drive sales performance, enable revenue growth, and strengthen collaboration between sales, finance, and leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in sales strategy, operations, account management, budgeting, and revenue governance — with strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy & Planning
- Partner with leadership to define and drive sales strategies, account planning and annual planning
- Drive forecasting accuracy and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with finance and sales leaders to align revenue targets, budgets, and incentive plans.
- Revenue Management & Governance
- Track revenue performance, identify gaps and potential leakage, and design mitigation plans.
- Establish governance frameworks to improve pipeline accuracy, deal hygiene, and pricing discipline.
- Conduct periodic revenue audits and margin analysis to ensure healthy profitability.
- Sales Processes & Performance Management
- Standardize sales processes, reporting, and dashboards across business units.
- Lead sales analytics, productivity improvement, and deal review cadence.
- Build frameworks for account coverage, quota allocation, and performance measurement.
- Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to CRO, CBOs, business leaders, and finance teams.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality executive presentations, reviews, and business insights.
- Partner with enablement teams to enhance sales capability and execution excellence.
Key Skills & Experience :
15+ years of experience in Sales Strategy, Account Management, or Sales Operations, with exposure to financial planning and revenue management.Strong understanding of sales forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).Excellent presentation and storytelling skills for executive-level communication.Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment between sales and other functions of the organization like Delivery, Finance, Operations, RM etc.Strategic mindset with a focus on process improvement and execution discipline
