Responsibilities :
HR Business Partnering :
- Support the business and execute end -to- end delivery of services, solutions and
- interventions across all HR processes.
- Coordinate and execute the interventions in line with the COE plan.
- Implement the employee engagement process enabling enhanced employee experience across the employee Life Cycle.
- Provide advice and support to line managers on decisions pertaining to people matters and ensure high levels of ownership on talent engagement, retention and development agenda.
- Plant level coordination for recruitment along with the talent acquisition team.
- Coordinate, execute and provide support for various learning and development interventions.
- Manage and maintain the requisite training records.
Industrial Relations :
Plan to develop and implement wage and salary programs to align with business strategy andexternal competitive concerns in the region for workers and contractual labour.Complete Management of labour relations with support of plant management and Corporate HRincluding negotiation with worker unions and contractors.Ensure seamless bipartite wage settlement.Ensure zero man-day loss on account of IR issues.Managing the employee grievance process and consulting with plants on union issues as needed.Serve as the plant expert on union issues as and when required.Payroll & Benefits Management :
Payroll Management with respect to employees at plant level for further review with the COE.including all statutory compliances for Butibori plant employees.Ensure administration of employee benefits including management of employee related insuranceschemes for plant employees.Statutory Compliance :
Ensure all statutory compliances at plant level with the unit are in line with regulatoryand legal requirements.Management of contractual labour and third party employees including tracking andcontrolling attendance and supervising the compliances of contractual labourand third party employees.Liaison with different government agencies.Employee database management at the plant level including management of personnel files.Keep close watch on HR and administration related law changes and react to them actively.Ensure HR and Admin contracts are in place and timely renewed.Safety :
Ensure implementation of relevant processes and Systems with Serious 7 & Take 5.Create assimilation of Safety culture throughout the hierarchy of the organization.Work towards a vision of zero harm at each location.Others :
Plant administration includes Security, Canteen, Transportation, Guest House and other administrative facilities / activities.Drive corporate social responsibility initiatives at the plant level in line with corporate strategy.Periodically share metrics with HR Operations, training etc in line with set objectives wrt process efficiency, effectiveness and cost / budgets.Requirements :
Essential :MBA / PGD in Human Resources; MPMIR, MSW.Minimum 5 years experience in handling generalist HR and IR activities for a manufacturing site.Interpersonal Skills :
Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment.Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability.Management Skills : ,
Effective communication skills, excellent planning and organizational skills.A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Highly motivated, results oriented and driven.Good negotiation skills should have dealt with unions independently or under guidance / support.Preferred :
Experience in the related field (Preferably in the Manufacturing sector)Proficient in MS-Office.Sound understanding of Labour i.e. state and local labour laws and regulations.Should have exposure to liaison activities with government bodies especially regarding labour laws.Ability to converse in local language (Odisha)Skills Required
