Amgen is seeking a dedicated Manager – Project Management to join the India PMO team . This critical role supports the successful activation and operation of Amgen India by managing cross-functional programs and facilitating effective collaboration between business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams , ensuring accurate understanding of project requirements and clear communication.
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain alignment with program goals, schedules, and budgets .
- Enforce adherence to PMO governance frameworks , processes, and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards .
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer communication and manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyze data to support informed decision-making and provide timely progress updates to stakeholders.
- Lead and facilitate team meetings , promote clarity on deliverables, and enhance cross-functional communication.
- Proactively identify risks , assess their impact, and execute mitigation plans .
- Track and report project performance , maintain accurate documentation, and drive initiatives to successful closure.

Basic Qualifications :
Doctorate degree ;ORMaster's degree with 4–6 years of project management experience;ORBachelor's degree with 6–8 years of project management experience;ORDiploma with 10–12 years of project management experience.Core Skills & Experience :
Proven expertise in managing cross-functional programs with a focus on scope, schedule, and quality .Strong knowledge of risk, partner, and change management .Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Power BI, MS Office).Skilled in PMO governance, reporting, standardization, and documentation .Experience working in multi-site, international teams and managing external vendors or partners.Strong time management , organizational , and collaborative skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Project management certifications such as PMP, CSM, Agile , or equivalent.Experience in both functional and matrix organizational environments .Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) .Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.What You Can Expect from Us
