Product Sales Manager - Asset Products (PAN-India)
Job Description :
- We are seeking a highly experienced, results-oriented Product Sales Manager to drive sales, growth, and execution strategy for our Asset Products across India.
- This senior Individual Contributor role requires exceptional Communication Skills and proven ability in Influencing diverse sales channels to achieve ambitious targets.
- The Manager will be the central pivot between Product Management and the frontline Sales teams, responsible for formulating, implementing, and monitoring sales plans and campaigns at a PAN-India level.
Key Responsibilities :
PAN-India Business Acquisition Strategy : Lead the coordination with regional sales teams to drive significant business acquisition and overall growth for all asset products (Retail Credit, Loans) across the entire country.Sales Planning and Implementation : Formulate, implement, and track granular sales plans for various asset products tailored to specific channel levels across different regions in India, ensuring targets are achieved.Channel Engagement and Process Streamlining : Maintain regular, proactive engagement with Area Sales Managers, Sales Managers, and Premium Relationship Managers to relentlessly drive business growth, address bottlenecks, and streamline sales and fulfillment processes for maximum efficiency.Sales Enablement and Training : Facilitate structured and ongoing training programs and workshops for the sales channel to ensure high effectiveness, efficiency, and deep product knowledge across the sales force.Campaign Management and Conversion Drive :
Launch and execute strategic channel campaigns designed to boost product penetration and usage.Be directly involved in driving conversion rates on campaigns across both the Acquisition and Relationship Management Channels for all asset products.Analyze business trends, manage campaign tracking, and oversee the fulfillment process for all promotional contests and incentives.Product Scaling and Innovation Liaison : Liaise closely with Respective Product Managers to scale up existing asset businesses, launch new product lines, and strategically leverage customer data ( extract PA / PQ base) for targeted cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.Best Practice Implementation : Systematically evaluate, benchmark, and identify best practices adopted across the banking and asset industry and champion their implementation within the business to enhance sales performance and process quality.Required Skills :
PG / Master's degree is required, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field.Extensive experience in Product Sales, Channel Management, or Business Development within the Banking sector, with a focus on Asset Products (, Loans, Retail Credit).Proven ability to formulate and execute complex sales plans and achieve targets at a PAN-India or large regional scale.Exceptional Communication Skills and a demonstrated track record of Influencing and managing - performance across diverse, multi-level sales teams (ASMs, RMs).Strong analytical skills to track business trends, manage campaign performance, and provide data-driven recommendations.Experience in sales training and enablement to enhance channel effectiveness.Familiarity with financial products beyond traditional loans is a plus ( knowledge of Retail Credit and associated processes).Preferred Skills :
Prior experience in a Product Specialist or Product Manager role before transitioning to sales, providing a strong foundation in product design and mechanics.Technical understanding of customer segmentation and data extraction for targeted sales campaigns.Certification or formal training in Sales Management or Advanced Negotiation.Experience with Retail Credit and its full lifecycle (origination, servicing, portfolio management)(ref : iimjobs.com)
