Job description

Education  - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience  - 5+ years.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for 3D modelling of battery parts and assemblies in UGNX.
  • Creation of 2D part drawings and assembly drawings.
  • Teamcenter working & GUI.
  • Co-ordinate with cross functional teams like component development, vehicle integration etc... and resolve DFM / DFA comments.
  • Get parts made in collaboration with Prototype team. Part assembly function & coordination with testing.

Technical / Functional Domain

  • Knowledge of battery & cell technology and components.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing of Aluminum PDC, plastics & sheet metal components.
  • Strong understanding of coordinate geometry, packaging, fits & tolerances in assembly, friction & torqueing, bolting application.
  • Basic level electrical understanding for electrical connections and experience in battery application.
  • Software skills : UGNX, Teamcenter, Microsoft office.
