Diploma ( Electrical or Electronics)

Job Responsibilities

Wiring harness routing in CAD data by using soft tool UGNx.
Electrical logic diagram design by using CAPH logic tool.
Wiring harness 2D design by using CAPH Xc..
Layout and packaging of wiring harness 3D data in vehicle DMU from concept stage and finalise it by considering all design guide line aspects.
Interface with electrical component and chassis design team to confirm and modify wiring harness to meet the final requirements.
Interaction with suppliers & vendors to meet the efficiency, cost, weight, manufacturability and serviceability.
Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, quality, cost, weight.

Competencies

Technical / Functional

Proficient in all tools for wiring harness design (CAPH Xc, Logic and Simstress), layout and CAD tool, preferably Unigraphics

Knowledge of all kinds of child parts used in wiring harness like wire ,fuses , connectors ,mechanical Protections and their selection criteria.

Knowledge about DFMEA and Fault Tree Analysis.

Thorough in basic theories and design concepts for automotive wiring harness.

Knowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations.

Software skills : CAPH Xc, 3D modelling tool (UG NX preferred).

Taking initiative and desire to transform concepts to reality
