Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Study Abroad Destination Counselor based in Chennai. The role involves providing personalized counseling to students regarding study abroad options, guiding students through the application and admission process, offering advice on program and university selection, and assisting with documentation and visa applications. The counselor will also help prepare students for their transition abroad and maintain up-to-date knowledge of global education trends and processes. Excellent communication and client relationship management are key to this role.

Qualifications

• Strong counseling and interpersonal skills to provide personalized guidance to students and families
• Knowledge in university applications, documentation, and visa assistance processes
• Research and organizational skills to stay updated on global education trends, scholarships, and programs
• Time management and ability to multitask while meeting deadlines
• Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM software is a plus
• Prior experience in the education industry or study abroad sector is advantageous
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field
