Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an L2 Network Support Engineer . The candidate will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting complex network environments, ensuring uptime, and implementing best practices in network administration. The role demands deep expertise in LAN / WAN, VLANs, SD-Access, and Cisco DNA Center, with hands-on experience in both IT and OT network ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complete network administration for LAN, WAN, VLANs, SD-Access, Wireless, DNA Center, and ISE.
- Follow change management and backup procedures as per client policies.
- Provide L2 troubleshooting for switches, routers, wireless controllers, and network endpoints.
- Manage onboarding of new switches and access points for IT and OT environments.
- Handle DNAC, ISE, and AD-related troubleshooting including authentication, policy configurations, and segmentation.
- Monitor and maintain business-critical VLANs, servers, and supportive devices via NOC.
- Coordinate with OEMs for hardware replacement, firmware upgrades, and technical escalations.
- Manage firewall configurations, logging, and vendor coordination for change management.
- Ensure server room and network rack maintenance as per SOP.
- Participate in daily monitoring meetings (DWM) and support audit, cybersecurity, and backup activities.
Qualifications
Education :
Diploma or Degree in IT, Electronics, or a related field.Cisco or equivalent networking certification (mandatory).Experience :
Minimum 5 years in network administration (VLAN, SDA, LAN / WAN).Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of network protocols and standards (BGP, VRF, LISP, ISIS).Hands-on with Cisco DNA Center, ISE, WLC, and network security systems.Proficient in firewall management, network monitoring, and endpoint troubleshooting.Knowledge of server operations, antivirus systems, and Active Directory management.CCNA Certification (Mandatory)Soft Skills
