About the Job Role :
The Trial Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and brand awareness for the company's products in a designated region. This role focuses on coordinating field activities, demonstrations, and training programs to build capacity within the sales team and ensure effective product adoption amongst farmers. Additionally, the coordinator will foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the agricultural sector.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with Area Business Managers and Category Managers for planning and executing field activities across states.
- Conduct field day and farmer meeting audits to ensure program effectiveness.
- Oversee demonstration planning, execution, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Audit demonstrations to ensure proper conduct and data collection.
- Coordinate new product trials, including protocols, observations, and report preparation.
- Facilitate resolution of technical issues related to demonstrations.
- Analyse demonstration results to identify and communicate key product selling points (USPs) for various crop combinations.
- Conduct classroom and in-field training sessions for sales teams on private label products and services.
- Track and ensure timely resolution of all farmer complaints.
- Actively participate in agricultural events within the assigned region.
- Coordinate and facilitate field trials at State Agricultural Universities, securing necessary approvals, test materials, and reports.
- Manage Model Farms : Ensure timely availability of demonstration materials, proper documentation, team coordination, plot audits, and reporting.
- Address technical issues and coordinate soil sample collection, dispatch, and timely reporting for SHRI cards and soil testing services.
- Facilitate business partnerships with Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs),including MoU signing, onboarding, growth plan development, product billing, and price-related issue resolution
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in agriculture (M.Sc.) or MBA in Agri Business Management2-6 years of work experience in Agronomy / Techno Commercial (Seed, CP, CN)
