Job Description-
Travel Accountant Manager position - Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, credit control, and collections. Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer payments through bank reconciliations. Maintain accurate records in Sales Accounting system and perform regular data management tasks. Prepare monthly MIS reports on AR aging analysis and provide insights for improvement. Assist with general accounting activities such as bookkeeping, accounts payable, and sales accounting.
Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions.
- Publish financial statements in time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
- Manage balance sheets and profit / loss statements.
- Answer questions related to Tour Partner bookings for internal and external customers
- Prepare and Posting for Monthly Sales, Invoicing, GST filing, knowledge of TCS, TDS, Tally.
- Review all expense reports for compliance with Company policy
- Provide customer service, support of expense reimbursement system and travel booking service
- Strong understanding of accountancy principles, finance concepts, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software applications and similar tools.
- Knowledge in Excel would be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Minimum 5 years experience in travel and tourism accounting.
