We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Tour Package Specialist to design, customize, and manage domestic and international travel packages. The role requires excellent knowledge of destinations, costing, vendor coordination, and the ability to create memorable travel experiences tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Package Creation & Design
- Develop, customize, and price domestic and international tour packages.
- Research destinations, attractions, hotels, and activities to design unique itineraries.
- Prepare cost sheets and quotations ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
- Client Engagement & Sales
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences, budgets, and requirements.
- Provide professional advice on destinations, travel options, and package inclusions.
- Handle inquiries via email, calls, and walk-ins, converting leads into bookings.
- Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Liaise with hotels, airlines, transport operators, and local tour providers.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with vendors to secure the best deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers for smooth operations.
- Operations & Execution
- Ensure seamless execution of booked packages including transport, accommodation, and sightseeing.
- Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, and special requests from clients.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, vouchers, invoices, and customer data.
- Customer Service
- Provide pre-departure guidance and travel documentation to clients.
- Offer 24 / 7 assistance during travel if required.
- Gather feedback to improve future packages and services.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations (Especially Europe and India)Proficiency in itinerary planning, costing, and package design.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to negotiate with vendors and manage budgets.Proficiency in MS Office, GDS (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre) and travel booking portals preferred.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field.2–5 years of experience in tour operations, travel sales, or package designing.Prior experience in a travel agency / DMC is highly desirable.Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
