Bridge Design Engineer

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our structural engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and assessing bridges, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bridge design, with experience in using software such as MIDAS, LUSAS, Superstress, and SAM. You will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and assess bridges, including preparing assessment reports and feasibility studies
• Develop new bridge designs and strengthen existing ones to meet UK standards
• Carry out design and assessment checks under the guidance of senior engineers
• Prepare and check drawings, specifications, and reports within given deadlines
