Role : SPM - Mechanical Design Engineer.
Location : Bangalore.

Working days : 6 working days (Mon-sat)
Overall Purpose of the Role :
- Automation, Design of mechanical engineering components, design and development of SPM , Design review and Checking of 2D detail drawing.
- Work in a team environment as a key resource for mechanical design and development.
- Understand customer requirements and propose solutions keeping functionality, optimization in view
- Responsibilities will include cross-functional interaction to qualify new design.
- Achieve the customer specifications and requirements.
- Offer technical support.
- Work on multiple phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity, with results impacting on project completion.
Qualifications and skills required :
Station DRI-Full machine Conceptual design, manufacturing design,DFM,SOP, RF design3D Part modeling,3D finishing and Assembly Details, cots items spec freeze and localizationBachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical engineering or Equivalent with 7 to 15 years of relevant experience.Key Responsibilities and skills :
Experience in automation, electromechanical / mechatronics and related concepts.Understand customer requirement, propose feasible ideas and concepts.Well versed with creation, reading and interpretation of engineering drawings and standards particularly precision components, fabricated structures.Wide knowledge of automation products.Validation of engineering components and concepts through engineering calculations.Selection of commercial items like Bearings, motor, gear box, Servomotor, sensors, conveyors etc..Awareness about best machining process, heat treatment process, engineering materials, surface treatment, EDM EBM mechatronics etc.Knowledge about material handling equipment,Able to understand and apply limits fits and tolerances, GD & T, surface finish.Good knowledge of DFx (DFM,DFS,DFA…) concepts.Knowledge of robotics, robot selection, application is an added advantage.Well convergent with CAD 2D / 3D platform particularly AUTO CAD , SOLID WORKS (Mandatory)
