Data Governance Specialist

Job descriptionMinimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, governance, or operations (Media / Entertainment industry preferred). Proven experience with Rightsline or similar rights / data management systems. Excellent documentation, process management, and organizational skills. Familiarity with SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and ability to write efficient queries. Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to lead our content operations efforts. As a key member of our team, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data assets across Rightsline and related systems.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and organize metadata in Rightsline, ensuring title hierarchy is accurate and up-to-date.
- Monitor data quality, troubleshoot discrepancies, and document processes to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data workflows and consistency.
- Develop and implement SQL queries to validate data and ensure accuracy.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data governance and operational scalability.
