Position Summary :

Manager, Data Governance

As the Data Governance Policy Support Manager, you will lead efforts to define, maintain, and monitor enterprise-wide data governance policies and standards. This role is central to ensuring that data is managed effectively across the organization and complies with privacy, security, and risk regulations. In addition to developing governance policies and frameworks, this role is responsible for auditing and monitoring policy adoption, working closely with global stakeholders to ensure adherence, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.

You will be pivotal in reinforcing policy alignment across business and technical domains while enabling data trust and accountability across the McDonalds data ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Policy & Standards Development : Lead the creation, review, and publication of enterprise data governance policies, standards, and data quality frameworks.
• Auditing & Monitoring : Establish and manage monitoring processes and audit mechanisms to ensure policy compliance and identify areas of non-conformance. Track adherence metrics and report findings to governance councils and leadership.
• Governance & Council Support : Collaborate with Data Governance Councils and Responsible AI Councils to align policies with evolving business needs, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
