Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience in integration testing across banking or financial domain, preferably treasury systems.
- Solid understanding of treasury platforms like FinMechanics or similar platforms.
- Good exposure to trade lifecycle, risk management, pricing, and settlement systems.
- Familiarity with integration testing tools, automation (optional), and defect tracking tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
- Working knowledge of APIs, messaging protocols (MQ, FIX), and file-based integrations.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in agile and waterfall environments.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Prior experience in end-to-end testing for enterprise trading applications is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional and offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Plan, manage, and execute integration testing for FinMechanics Converge (FMC) platform and related upstream / downstream systems.Review business and system requirements, create comprehensive test cases and test scenarios covering functional flows, system interfaces, and data validations.Coordinate with business, support, and development teams to understand business flows and dependencies.Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to defined quality assurance standards and guidelines.Maintain detailed documentation including test plans, test data, test execution logs, and defect reports.Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and automation frameworks(ref : hirist.tech)
