The Job

  • Validating the strategy with all stakeholders
  • Implementing the test strategy while leading teams with direct and indirect reports
  • Assisting in project risk analysis, testing scope and scheduling
  • Identifying level of test coverage required and weak areas
  • Liaising with Project Leads and other Departmental Managers on schedule impact, test coverage, etc.
  • Establishing testing practices and department organization
  • Ensuring that the group is running at optimal capacity and efficiency
  • Prioritizing and allocating resources to multiple projects
  • Responsible for leading tools development for Engineering Efficiency and Infrastructure
  • Working with product management, engineering and sales to determine customer use cases for our solutions

What Skills You Bring In

  • Experience with build-to-test automation, continuous integration
  • Automated testing & test-driven development
  • Excellent Python programming skills with Pytest
  • Agile / Lean software development methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following domains :
  • Working experience with Unix, Linux or RTOS
  • Strong experience in SQL and database management.
  • Working experience in Linux system configuration, Network Functions Virtualization
  • Good knowledge of Open protocol standards such as Diameter and / or REST interfaces
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deal well with ambiguous / undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
  • Good testing acumen and attention to detail
  • Motivated, positive attitude, team player, self-motivated
  • Ability to effectively articulate technical test challenges into automated test solutions
  • Passion to make the internet infrastructure faster and reliable

    • Desired

  • Experience working with Telecom domain would be added advantage
  • Experience of working in a collaborative mode across multiple time zones and across cultures would be an added advantage
