About the job
At TI, Test Engineers leverage strong technical knowledge working hands-on to bring differentiated power solutions to our customers globally. Test Engineers also partner closely with Design, Validation, Systems and Application engineers to ensure our power solutions are both meeting customer and market requirements, and are technically and cost-wise optimized.
About the role and team :
- Work with design team to understand design specifications
- Generate test plan, create test and char program, design ATE hardware interface boards
- Debug & characterize silicon on ATE, correlate results with bench data
- Analyze silicon results, supporting failure analysis tasks
- Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time
- Work with production team to release products to volume production
- Test strategy definition and implementation for new DCDC converter products
- ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test hardware and software knowledge base
- Silicon qualification & characterization including qual hardware development
- Comprehensive device debugging, design validation and failure analysis
- Drive for robust and cost-effective test solutions while being accountable for product quality
Minimum requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study2-5 years of relevant experienceATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT), although Eagle experience is preferred and is a differentiatorCharacterization test program and hardware development experience, Production test program and hardware development experienceStrong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits, and Analog test techniquesData analysis skills using Spotfire, dataPower or equivalent tool based on STDFExperience with various lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies, sourcemeters, loads etc.Experience with product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test time reductionStrong understanding of the IC product development process, from concept to volume productionPreferred qualifications :
Mixed signal test techniques and experience with developing mixed-signal tests on ATE, especially Power ProductsExperience with test program and hardware offload to offshore manufacturing sitesProficiency in programming / scripting in C++, Python, C#Revision control tools experienceDemonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in team and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationshipsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentAbility to take the initiative and drive for results
