About the Role

We’re seeking an accomplished editorial leader to head the technology and startups vertical — someone who thrives at the intersection of news, innovation, and storytelling. The role demands deep subject-matter expertise across AI, emerging tech, and digital business, paired with proven editorial leadership and newsroom management experience.

You’ll define editorial direction, lead a team of journalists and producers, shape long-term content strategy across digital and video, and drive large-scale coverage on AI, startups, and the innovation economy for a global audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead editorial planning, reporting, and storytelling on emerging tech, startups, and innovation.
• Build and oversee a team of reporters, editors, and producers to deliver impactful, insight-driven coverage.
• Conceptualize and anchor multi-platform content — print, video, social, and live events.
• Drive coverage around data, AI transformation, funding trends, and business leadership in tech.
• Collaborate with partnerships and events teams to align editorial narratives with strategic initiatives.
• Represent the organization at key industry conferences, summits, and global media forums.
• Mentor young journalists and creators to build domain expertise and modern digital storytelling skills.
• Drive engagement through editorial innovation — high-quality visual storytelling, explainers, and thought-leadership pieces.
