Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for annual and day-to-day costing for all Swissco plants, Pune and Waterford.
Responsible for ISC STRAP activities that includes leading the financials coordination for the annual STRAP process by consolidating multi-functional inputs, driving scenario modelling, and ensuring strategic alignment between plant operations and business goals.
Job Responsibilities
'Subject matter expert in Costing
Responsible for annual and day-to-day costing for all Swissco plants, Pune and Waterford.
Strategic Financial Planning
Lead the development of 5–10-year strategic financial plans (STRAP) for the plant network, aligning with long-term business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME), Indirect Procurement, HR, and Strategy teams to gather key assumptions and inputs.
Capital And Depreciation Analysis
Prepare 10-year depreciation simulations using SAP data for existing assets and forecasted investments. Perform Capital Intensity analysis to support strategic investment decisions.
Cost Per Unit (CPU) Analysis
Conduct functional- and plant-level CPU analysis for Turbo and Zero Emissions Vehicles (ZEV) product lines.
'Should Cost' Assessment :
Work with industrial leaders to reassess and validate 'should cost' estimates for ZEVs to ensure alignment with evolving business cases.
Data Consolidation
Aggregate and analyze financial and operational data, including volume forecasts, cost improvement initiatives (OPE, Opex / Matex), inflation impacts, and strategic plans.
STRAP Model Development & Scenario planning
Integrate cross-functional inputs into a unified, financially sound STRAP model in line with corporate strategy.
Update the STRAP cost model to reflect various market-driven volume scenarios for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) purposes.
Presentation & Reporting
Develop executive-level STRAP financial presentations, including cost and CPU walk-throughs, to support leadership decision-making.
Education Qualification And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance or a related filed. CA / MBA in Finance will be preferred
4-5 Years of experience in manufacturing environment including costing and budgeting
Key Skills And Knowledge
Knowledge of manufacturing operations, BOMs, routings, and cost centers
Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to details and accuracy.
Proficiency in ERP system (e.g. SAP) and advanced excel skills
Problem solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing processes inefficiencies
