Job Description
The Assistant Manager – Business Finance will be responsible for supporting the financial planning, budgeting, analysis, and reporting activities for the business unit. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to provide data-driven insights, track performance, and assist in driving financial discipline across functions.
Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly / quarterly financial reviews.
- Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget) and provide commentary on deviations.
- Prepare and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making.
- Support the tracking of KPIs, business metrics, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with business and operational teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions. Generate timely and accurate MIS reports and dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Participate in cost optimization, margin analysis, and spend control activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate financial policies.
- Assist in preparing business cases and financial feasibility studies for new initiatives.
