Role Overview
As the Senior Director of Finance, you will lead the finance function with a focus on strategic planning, finance controllership, investor relations, and financial operations. You will be a key member of the leadership team, driving financial discipline, compliance, and business scalability across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Business Planning
- Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, growth plans, and capital allocation
- Drive initiatives to improve profitability, unit economics, and ROI
Finance Controllership
Own the integrity of financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flowsEnsure timely and accurate month-end / year-end closing and reportingStrengthen internal financial controls, risk management, and complianceOversee implementation of robust accounting practices and ERP systemsManage statutory, internal, and tax auditsFinancial Operations
Oversee daily finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payrollEnsure tax compliance (GST, TDS, income tax) and regulatory adherenceReview and approve all financial processes, reconciliations, and vendor paymentsFundraising & Investor Relations
Support equity and debt fundraising effortsBuild investor confidence through transparent and timely reportingLead financial due diligence, board reporting, and investor communicationTeam Leadership
Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance and accounts teamFoster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvementKey Requirements
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA); MBA in Finance is a plus10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, with 3+ years in a leadership roleStrong background in finance controllership and complianceProven experience in high-growth start-ups, construction, real estate, or tech industriesSolid understanding of Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, tax laws, and audit practicesHands-on experience with ERPs, MIS, and business finance toolsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsWhy Join Us
