Build Scalable Systems That Power AI Products

Are you a backend engineer who thrives on building APIs that scale and perform? Do you want to contribute to products that integrate with OpenAI technologies , without getting lost in corporate bureaucracy? This role gives you the chance to own meaningful systems in a fast-growing team.

100% Remote (Must be able to work 8hours of CST)

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain backend services in Python + Flask .
  • Lead integrations with APIs (including OpenAI).
  • Collaborate closely with frontend and product teammates to deliver end-to-end functionality.
  • Ensure backend systems are secure, reliable, and efficient .

What Makes You a Fit

  • 3–5 years of professional backend development experience.
  • Proven ability to design and ship production APIs.
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical choices with ease.
  • Team-first, collaborative, and focused on solutions.

    • Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with React.js to better align with the team.
  • Experience deploying on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

  • $2,000–$2,200 / month (slight flex for top candidates).
