Job Purpose
To proactively act as first respondent during emergency & overall security operations including but not limited to prevention of theft / pilferage and sabotage, monitoring of alarm systems, visitor management, entry and exit procedure for men and material, transport management, CCTV monitoring and intelligence gathering

Security Policy & Strategy Development
- Implement comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored for the sites.

Resource Management

Risk Assessment & Threat Management
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.Develop mitigation strategies to prevent security breaches and unauthorized access.Implement crisis management and emergency response plans.Security Monitoring & System Management
Oversee the installation and management of security surveillance systems, alarms, and access control measures.Monitor real-time security data and respond to incidents in a timely manner.Ensure security systems are regularly updated and testedPersonnel & Training

Monitoring movement of personnel and assets at all entry and exit points
Monitoring all main gate movements of Employees, other unit employees, visitors and recording it as per SOP. Supervise Frisking and checking of all enter inside the plant and checking of bags also.VAMS operations for visitors and all documentation and maintaining of all required data and registers.Receiving and courteous dealing with Higher officials, Govt staffs, auditors and all visitors and guiding them and briefing regarding plant.Informing higher authorities regarding all important visits in plant like auditors and other location staffs etc.Assign task to all security guards / supervisors and ensure as per SOP duties are followedKey Accountabilities (4 / 6)
Material gate movements
Monitoring of all contractor movements, service personal. Apprentice, Internship and recording the movements as per SOP. Supervise frisking and bag checking.Monitoring all inward and outward materials and documenting as per SOP. Maintaining separate record of inward, outward, RGP, Vehicle movements.Supervise checking of all vehicles and making proper vehicle entry and briefing and monitoring of vehicle drivers and personal checking of drivers and vehiclesInduction Training
Induction training to new joiners, apprentices & PIEMS (off-role staff). Including men and material movement and administrative services available at site. And detailed explained for Dos and Don't at site.
Compliance Management
Timely up-dation in compliances in compliance management tool.

Transport Management
Providing support for all employees by providing and assisting transport facility in General and shift duties.Maintaining Company owned vehicles and ambulances by carrying periodic servicing documentation and keeping ready all time to fulfil all task.Recruiting drivers for company and ensuring proper training for safe driving and norms to be followed while driving with higher officials and delegates.Ensure smooth operation for employee transportation and checking and maintaining of third-party vehicle thoroughly and maintaining proper communication with transport vendor and keep updating the requirements.Conducting transport committee every quarterly and MOM is sharing with all members.Checking of CCTV and GPS in all vehicles as per procedure and ensuring safety of all employees.Maintaining all data of entry and exit of all company owned vehicles and employee transport vehicles.Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of vehicles and proper hygiene of drivers all the timeKey Accountabilities (6 / 6)
Safety and security
Securing premises and personnels by patrolling properly, monitoring, Surveillance, inspecting buildings, Equipment's, and allowing entry for authorised persons and positioning guards at all vital areas.Preventing loss and damage by proper information who violates policies and procedures and reporting any unusual activities.Deployment of security guards at vital areas and checking them at regular intervalsRecruiting and training for security guards for firefighting first aid, general behaviours, frisking and personal hygiene and to provide training and monitor proper execution of their duties.CCTV monitoring and execution of repair and works with proper tie up with vendors.Proper security of all assets inside the plant.Checking of documentation required for taking material out from plantMajor Challenges

Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree – In a related field such as Business Administration or equivalentRelevant Work Experience
15+ Years / Ex-Defence / Paramilitary / Police as a Security officer.Ability to drive and control situations in extreme situations.Handle emergency / Accidental situations / MOB control.Skills Required
