Job Summary

Mandatory : SFCC, B2C, React, PWA Kit

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead / Senior Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of eCommerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), SFRA, and PWA Kit. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SFCC platform customization, performance tuning, and headless commerce implementations, along with strong leadership capabilities to mentor teams and drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership :

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of SFCC-based eCommerce solutions using SFRA and PWA Kit.
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, performance, and

scalability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions.

    • 2. SFCC & SFRA Development :

  • Customize and extend SFCC Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) to meet business requirements.
  • Develop reusable components, controllers, and pipelines in SFCC B2C / B2B contexts.
  • Integrate third-party APIs (payment gateways, OMS, CRM) with SFCC.

    • 3. PWA Kit Implementation :

  • Architect and build headless commerce solutions using Salesforce PWA Kit and React.
  • Optimize PWA performance (SSR, caching, offline capabilities) and ensure seamless SFCC data integration.
  • Implement CI / CD pipelines for PWA deployments.

    • 4. Performance & Security :

  • Optimize SFCC / SFRA performance (page load times, Lighthouse scores).
  • Ensure compliance with security standards (PCI-DSS, OWASP).

    • 5. Mentorship & Innovation :

  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
  • Stay updated with SFCC / PWA Kit updates and advocate for modern eCommerce trends.

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

    Core SFCC :

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SFCC (Demandware) and SFRA.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, ISML, Pipelines, Controllers, and OCAPI.

    • PWA Kit :

  • Strong experience with PWA Kit, React, Redux, and GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of headless commerce architectures and CDN caching strategies.

    • Tools & DevOps :

  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and SFCC Business Manager.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud APIs (OCAPI, Data API).

    • Soft Skills :

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Agile / Scrum methodology experience.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer Certification.
  • Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or Vercel.
  • Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
