Role Description
The Travel Consultant plays a vital role in supporting the sales and operations teams by coordinating client requirements, managing travel bookings, and ensuring smooth execution of holiday, trade fair and business travel arrangements. This role bridges sales, customer service, and operations, ensuring client satisfaction while achieving business growth targets.
Key Responsibilities : -
Sales Coordination :
- Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and itineraries for clients.
- Maintain updated records of leads, prospects, and bookings in CRM systems.
- Follow up with clients on inquiries, quotations, and payments.
- Support in achieving monthly / quarterly sales targets.
Client Service :
Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring timely communication and assistance.Handle travel requests including flights, hotels, visas, insurance, and transfers.Provide accurate information about trade fairs, destinations, and travel requirements.Address and resolve client queries or concerns efficiently.Operational Coordination :
Liaise with airlines, hotels, and other service providers for reservations.Ensure all travel documents (tickets, vouchers, visa letters, etc.) are delivered on time.Coordinate logistics for group travel, delegations, and special arrangements.Monitor bookings to avoid discrepancies and ensure quality service delivery.Administration & Reporting :
Prepare regular sales reports, booking status updates, and client feedback summaries.Maintain databases of clients, suppliers, and trade fair schedules.Assist in promotional activities, email campaigns, and event participation.Qualifications and Skills : -
Graduate (preferably in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Management).1–2 years of experience in travel sales, coordination, or customer service (trade fair / business travel / Leisure travel experience preferred).Strong knowledge of international travel, fairs, and group booking processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software; knowledge of GDS / airline reservation systems is an advantage.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.Strong problem-solving attitude and client-first approach.Key Attributes : -
