Technical Architect - Python / Golang

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect (Backend) to join our growing engineering team. This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role where you will drive backend architecture decisions, lead the design of scalable systems, and work closely with engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams.

You will not be managing people, but your technical leadership will guide the architecture and direction of mission-critical backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and own the architecture of backend services, APIs, and infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Provide hands-on development expertise in Node.js or any other backend language (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, system interfaces, and integration points.
• Establish and enforce best practices in software engineering (code quality, CI / CD, testing, observability).
• Conduct architectural reviews and mentor senior engineers in design patterns and architectural principles.
• Lead efforts in breaking down monoliths (if applicable), introducing microservices or serverless architecture.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend adoption paths for relevant use-cases.
• Act as a trusted advisor to engineering and product leadership for long-term platform planning.
