Research and Development - Head

Key Responsibilities :

• New Product Development :
• Lead the end-to-end RD lifecycle for LED TV products, from concept to commercialization, in alignment with customer requirements and market needs.
• Innovation Technology Integration :
• Identify and integrate emerging technologies and innovations into product design and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, performance, and user experience.
• Market Intelligence :
• Stay abreast of global LED TV trends, competitor benchmarks, and product launches to ensure our offerings remain ahead of the curve.
• Support to Production :
• Provide technical and design support to on-floor production teams to ensure seamless product rollouts and resolve any technical bottlenecks.
• Manufacturing Process Optimization :
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes, reduce cycle time, and drive cost reductions without compromising on quality.
• Customer Collaboration :
• Work closely with clients / OEMs for new product co-development, product customizations, and technical presentations during pre-sales and development phases.
• Product Testing Reliability :
• Oversee product validation processes including reliability testing, quality benchmarking, and compliance with national / international standards.
• Quality Cost Focus :
• Drive initiatives to enhance product quality while simultaneously identifying cost-saving opportunities through design innovation, material substitution, or process improvements.
• Team Leadership :
• Build and lead a high-performing RD team fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
