About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant specializing in Direct & Indirect Taxation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have role on researching about global direct and indirect tax workings, reviewing recurring tasks relating to compliances, review of workings and contribute in any manner relating to large entities direct & indirect taxes requirements.

Skills & Pre-requisite :

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with specialization in Direct and Indirect Taxation.

Location - Udupi, Karnataka

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in taxation and finance consulting services.

In-depth knowledge of Income Tax Act, GST laws, and global compliances is added advantages.

Strong analytical, process driven, and research oriented skills along with ability to write down the procedure notes.

Having prior experience of working in ERPs like Netsuit, Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics is an added advantage.

Experience in handling tax audits, assessments, and litigation matters

Excellent communication and client-handling skills

Should have strong fundamental understanding of Direct & Indirect Tax

Proficiency in financial software and tools related to taxation compliance

Enthusiasm towards reading, researching, and working in Direct & & Indirect Tax domain to build a specialised career in Taxation domain

Good Team Player and respect for Organization hierarchy.

Key Responsibilities :

Ensure compliance with Direct & Indirect Tax laws across globe (Income Tax, GST, VAT etc.).

To write processes around data collation, report preparations and working verifications.

To review the tax workings and help in monthly, quarterly and annual provisions.

To facilitate response to queries on audits, assessments and any other checklist preparations..

Preparing, processing, and maintaining paperwork related to all aspects of the taxation cycle, culminating in the preparation and filing of tax returns.

Stay updated on tax law changes by constantly researching on regulatory changes impacting the deliverables.

To adhere to the written process and execute complex computations.

Coordinate with finance team, internal team and others along with initiating meetings, mining additional support required and strengthen the internal team to support in more processes.
