The Embedded Systems Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting modules and applying life cycle management principles and upholding established design practices and quality processes throughout development.

This position reports to the Head of Life Cycle Management & Group Manager and is part of the R&D Hardware / Systems Development team located in Bengaluru – BDC and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the Embedded team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Drive the design and development of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics new and on-market products and ensure that all software associates, processes, and products remain aligned with worldwide medical device regulations and guidance while following Beckman's internal procedures
• Oversee the entire embedded systems development lifecycle, from requirements to testing and release
• Independently own and drive multiple critical work streams; this includes vision / direction setting, overseeing the overall planning and execution toward clear objectives with measurable key results
• Provide hands-on technical leadership on multiple fronts (architecture / design, code reviews, and incident management)
• Mentor and develop team members, ensuring their growth and career progression.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, software engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing.
