Tutor Training Consultant (6 months Contract)

Job descriptionProvide timely, constructive, and actionable feedback to tutors following observations Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions and create personalized improvement plans Model effective teaching strategies and best practices during training session Track tutor progress over time using quantitative and qualitative metrics Maintain comprehensive records of feedback sessions and improvement milestones Generate regular reports on tutor development and training effectiveness Contribute to tutor training curriculum design and refinement Develop resources, guides, and templates to support tutor development Facilitate group training workshops on common areas of improvement Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred) Minimum 5 years of teaching or tutoring experience with demonstrated excellence Proven experience in teacher coaching, mentoring, or instructional supervision Exceptional communication skills with ability to deliver constructive feedback diplomatically Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform coaching decisions Proficiency with learning management systems and video conferencing platforms Ability to work independently and manage multiple tutor relationships simultaneously Remote with flexible schedule during tutoring session hours Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tutor Development Specialist as a Consultant to enhance the quality of our educational delivery by observing, evaluating, and coaching our tutors. This role focuses on developing teaching excellence through structured observation, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement monitoring.

- Conduct regular observations of live and recorded tutoring sessions across various subjects and grade level
- Assess sessions using established quality frameworks and document observations for feedback
