Business Analyst, Logistics & Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Applications

Job descriptionA university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. Manage external resource against SLA and operational metrics Budget Management - Ability to project and present annual operation Expense and Capital budget in departmental budget process Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to identify and document potential improvements, coordinate with different departmental teams to produce better business outcomes and identify automation opportunities. Write clear and well-structured business requirements / documents and communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with project teams to clarify and improve requirements during implementation and to assist with project management and solution delivery Develop clear requirements traceability and test plans to facilitate unit, system, and user acceptance testing. Coordinate and facilitate end user testing for solution acceptance. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Responsible for conducting prototypes, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction / control tables. Involved in security / authorization set-up, user documentation, data interface design, data migration and reconciliation. May be involved in the installation and tuning of modifications, as well as archiving data. Generally, this position has light programming skills in the appropriate language to develop scripts for analysis and prototyping. Business Analyst, Logistics & Global Trade Compliance (GTC) Applications will work closely with business stakeholders to understand current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. They will elicit and document detailed requirements and collaborate with development teams for implementation.
General Responsibilities
- Presents new ways to work with analyses, articulation and presentations of complex data, in order to allow effective and timely management decisions
- Provide consistent data storage, access and updates for all users
- Reports and tracks solutions related to customer return issues; including but not limited to product, service and warranty
- Communicates with various functions, project families and regions on trends and measurable results
- Proactively plans for trends and implements training to mitigate repeat events
- Leads teams to create strategy based in actionable data which aligns with long term vision of a zero incidence culture
