Responsibilities :
Installation and Setup :
Install and configure audiovisual equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing systems.
Ensure proper cable management and integration of AV components.
Testing and Calibration :
- Conduct testing and calibration of AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to audio, video, or control systems.
On-site Support :
Provide on-site support during events, meetings, and conferences to ensure smooth operation of AV equipment.Assist users with the setup and operation of AV systems.Maintenance :
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of AV systems to identify and address potential issues.Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance activities.Documentation :
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of AV system configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures.Create user guides and training materials for end-users.Collaboration :
Collaborate with AV engineers, programmers, and project managers to contribute to the successful execution of projects.Communicate effectively with clients and end-users to understand their AV requirements.Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.Proven experience as an AV Technician or a related field.Strong technical knowledge of audiovisual equipment, cabling, and signal flow.Familiarity with AV control systems and basic programming concepts.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Benefits
