Job descriptionHands on experience or certification in Oracle Database Cloud Services skills is mandatory. Experience in Oracle Database 11g / 12c / 18c / 19c / 21c and Grid Infrastructure Design and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and views Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner Define a reliable backup strategy and configure database backups for error free executions followed by periodic restorations Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required Build Disaster Recovery environment for database, drive and support DR drills Support and collaborate with product developers and support them in writing high performing / optimized PLSQL codes Must To Have Skills : Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA) 7+ years of experience in administering databases, RAC and database systems Lead prototyping architecture and implementation Configuration and managing life cycle management of Oracle Databases in cloud includes DBaaS , ExaCC , ExaCS and Autonomous Databases OCI Certified Architect professional and / or one Oracle Database Specialty level certification Strong automation / infrastructure background with exposure to the majority of services in OCI Strong understanding of OCI architectures across containerization microservices and serverless in OCI The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A 15 years full time education is required.
Job Description
- As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup / recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
