Head of Technology - Data Science

Role Head of Technology & Data Science enterprise-level health analytics and risk management solutions. Seeking a full-time Head of Technology &Data Science with managerial responsibilities to provide leadership for our India technology and data science :

• Experience in running and leading internal resources posted in different geographies and time zones and managing teams, team building, coaching and mentoring.
• At least 15+ years of software engineering experience including maintaining / operating at least one software product for 2+ years
• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud computing and / or data processing and / or data science
• Extensive team building and leadership experience and excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
• Strong executive presence and ability to interface with US leadership and external stakeholders
• Degree in computer science, math, statistics, or another engineering field
• Strong software security focus and mindset, experience with security certifications
• Ability to manage and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to translate client and SME insights into product and operational requirements for the technical teams
• Experience working with healthcare data and / or in the healthcare tasks and technologies :
• Lead India-based teams of software engineering staff, data scientists and other technical staff involved in the development of clinically relevant, AI-enabled, enterprise-level health analytics and risk management solutions.
• Manage the development of AI and NLP-based analytics products with an end-user clinical and care management perspective
• Manage the development and maintenance of company's full-stack software solutions for health risk, clinical summarization and health equity analytics
• Build out our suite of internal service tools and platforms that process healthcare datasets, EHR, claim and care management data
• Demonstrate operational efficiency by continuously improving and implementing project management tools and processes that contribute to optimal team performance and result
• Encourage continuous innovation and out of the box thinking and transform ideas from high level business problem statements to a detailed outline of AI-driven health analytics solutions
• Grow our team of energetic, skillful, and dedicated staff through highly selective hiring and :
• Shipped NLP / ML in production for healthcare or regulated enterprise.
• Hands-on with Clinical BERT / biomed transformers or cost / utilization modeling at scale.
• FHIR / HL7 + SNOMED / ICD-10 fluency.
• Demonstrated HITL systems and MLOps (registry, feature store, drift, auto-retrain).
• HIPAA / SOC2 experience; audit / readiness stories.
• Built and led India engineering / analytics teams serving US :
• FQHC / payer / provider analytics; EDI 837 / 835
• Fairness / XAI features vary visibly in the product.
