About the Team

The Fulfilment - Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) Vertical at Ninjacart focuses on the farm-to-retailer supply chain. We procure high-quality, competitively priced produce directly from farmers and ensure timely delivery to retailers' doorsteps. The last-mile distribution is efficiently managed through our Distributor Partners, who operate from strategically located Micro Distribution Centres (MDCs).

As a key member of our team, you’ll own the business volumes and profit margins of assigned categories. This role demands a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends to curate the right assortment, optimize availability, and margins while crafting compelling value propositions. If you're driven by market understanding, customer experience, demand planning, pricing strategy and P&L optimization, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing categories and their SKU assortments as per territory level requirements
  • Periodical demand planning (Daily, weekly & monthly) in collaboration with sales & procurement team to achieve the business objectives
  • Own the category P&L metrics (Margins & dump management) and customer metrics (Volumes, Customer x Category metrics, Fulfilment & Returns)
  • Planning and executing customer campaigns, offers and customer engagement
  • Mentor & develop a high performing team to successfully deliver business goals

  • Tier 1 / Tier 2 MBA with 4-8 years of FMCG sales / B2B / category Management experience
  • Experience in FMCG Industry or start-up is mandatory
  • Sound understanding of the customer segment, their behavior, products in the category, market trends, category pricing & B2B sales
  • Ability to deep dive into large data sets, analyze, interpret and make quick decisions resulting in impactful business goals
