Senior Magento Backend Developer

Job descriptionBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on Magento. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Strong understanding of Magento architecture, including modules, themes, and extensions. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with one or more additional e-commerce platforms, preferably Shopify or Shopware. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with team members and clients
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain Magento-based e-commerce websites, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Customize and extend Magento functionality through custom module development and third-party integrations.
- Optimize website performance by implementing best practices for caching, indexing, and database optimization.
- Conducted code reviews and provided constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on the user experience.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in e-commerce to continuously improve our development processes and solutions.
- Should know about upgrading the Magento version as well as upgrading the installed modules.
- Should be able to transfer a site from one server to another.
