Senior Magento Developer - PHP Frameworks

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Magento Backend Developer with 26 years of hands-on experience in Magento 2.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing custom modules, integrating third-party systems, and optimizing backend performance of eCommerce Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Magento 2 modules and features.
• Develop and integrate APIs for third-party systems (payment gateways, shipping, ERP, CRM, etc.
• Manage and optimize Magento backend processes such as product imports, catalog management, checkout flow, and order processing.
• Work with frontend developers to deliver fully integrated solutions.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented PHP code following Magento coding standards.
• Perform regular code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with QA for testing and debugging issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot backend performance and server-side issues.
• Implement caching strategies (e., Varnish, Redis) and index Skills & Qualifications :
• 26 years of experience in backend development with Magento 2.
• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and Magento 2 architecture.
• Experience with Magento 2 module development, customization, and extension integration.
• In-depth knowledge of Magento APIs (REST / SOAP), Magento CLI, and Composer.
• Strong understanding of Magentos EAV model, database structure, and custom entity creation.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, indexing, and caching strategies.
• Understanding of security best practices for eCommerce platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux environments, basic shell scripting, and cron to Have :
• Magento 2 Backend Developer Certification.
• Experience with Docker, CI / CD pipelines, or cloud deployment.
• Exposure to ElasticSearch, Varnish, and Redis.
• Experience integrating with systems like ERP, CRM, or POS.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
