Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Manage day-to-day activities of assigned department / section including supervision of staff scheduling of tasks assigning of resources monitoring progress against targets resolving issues / problems arising out of operational challenges ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements maintaining records / reports related to operations managing inventory levels etc.
• Develop strategies for improving productivity by identifying areas where efficiency can be improved or costs reduced without compromising on quality standards.
• Ensure timely completion of all projects undertaken by the department / section under your purview.
• Provide guidance and support to subordinates regarding their career growth opportunities within the organization.
• Maintain proper documentation related to all aspects of operations including but not limited to production records financial reports employee records training materials safety protocols etc.
• Monitor performance metrics regularly to assess effectiveness of implemented measures and take corrective action wherever necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments / sections to achieve organizational goals.
• Identify potential risks associated with operations and implement appropriate mitigation measures accordingly.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the department / section under your supervision.
