- The Assistant Manager Internal Controls will report directly to the General Manager Accounts, IT, and Legal, and will be responsible for strengthening, monitoring, and continuously improving the organizations internal control framework.
- The role requires a Commerce graduate with 46 years of relevant experience, along with CA Final completion (preferably with additional certification in internal controls).
- The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background and possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of Ind AS and IFRS, and hands-on expertise in SAP.
- In this position, the incumbent will ensure effective implementation of the companys Risk Control Mechanism by conducting regular reviews, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective measures. The role also involves coordinating SAP-related developments and enhancements to ensure that internal control requirements are embedded within system workflows and processes.
- The Assistant Manager will manage and oversee FMS compliance and J-SOX compliance activities, ensuring full adherence to internal audit standards and global regulatory frameworks.
- A key part of the role includes monitoring all statutory compliances and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely filings, documentation accuracy, and adherence to legal requirements.
- The professional will also be responsible for studying existing internal control systems, evaluating their effectiveness, and proposing improvements that align with organizational objectives and risk management strategies.
- To excel in this role, the candidate must have strong planning and analytical abilities, deep knowledge of internal control frameworks, and the capability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Experience working in a Japanese company is preferred, as is residency within the nearby region to ensure ease of commute and operational continuity.
