Role Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Market Research
o Proactively identify and research potential leads through various channels such as databases, social media, referrals, and industry events.
o Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, positioning DILABS&apos solutions effectively.
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building
o Initiate outbound calls and emails to prospective clients to introduce products / services, qualify leads, and assess their needs.
o Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
3. Sales Presentations & Negotiations
o Conduct product demonstrations and virtual meetings to showcase solutions, addressing customer pain points and demonstrating the value proposition.
o Handle negotiations, close deals, and ensure smooth transition to the account management or customer success team.
4. Tendering & Government Engagement
o Manage and oversee the tendering process, especially with government PSUs and DRDOs. Ensure timely and accurate submissions aligned with client requirements and regulatory standards.
5. Sales Pipeline Management
o Manage and update CRM with accurate data on lead status, sales activities, and customer information.
o Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals and KPIs.
6. Collaboration & Strategic Input
o Collaborate closely with marketing and other sales team members to align on strategies, lead generation tactics, and conversion goals.
o Provide feedback from the market to Product Management regarding products, including coordinating gaps between product functionality and customer demands.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Marketing, Business, or a relevant field.
2–3 years of experience in marketing and sales, with a strong emphasis on the avionics, aerospace, or defence domain industries.
Strong knowledge of military standards and avionics industry requirements.
Experience with Government PSUs like HAL, ECIL, BEL and DRDOs is particularly valued.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
