We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Manager - Safety and Diagnostics (Calibration) with a strong background in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both powertrain safety and diagnosis calibration , with a deep understanding of key industry standards, tools, and protocols. You will be responsible for managing the complete project delivery for safety and diagnostics, ensuring all requirements are met from a technical and compliance perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Calibration & Tools : Lead safety and diagnosis calibration projects for powertrain systems (engine or transmission). You must have hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and software such as CANalyzer, Diagnostic Link , and INCA .
- Functional Safety : Ensure all projects adhere to functional safety standards, particularly ISO 26262 . You will be responsible for conducting safety analysis using techniques like FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) .
- Systems & Protocols : Work with ECUs (Electronic Control Units) and have a strong understanding of diagnostic protocols such as OBD-II and UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) .
- Project Management : Manage all aspects of project delivery, from planning and execution to final delivery.
Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years of experience in the powertrain (engine or transmission) safety and diagnosis calibration domain .At least 2 years of experience managing complete project delivery.Educational background of BE / B. Tech / ME / M. Tech .Skills
Strong expertise in ISO 26262, FMEA , and FTA .Proficiency with diagnostic tools and protocols ( CANalyzer, INCA, OBD-II, UDS ).Excellent leadership and project management abilities.Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsSkills Required
